Best Start is a service from pregnancy until your child turns 5. It is made up of a number of different organisations all working together to give your child the best start in life by offering both targeted and universal support.

Healthy Start
With Healthy Start, you may be qualify for food vouchers and healthy vitamins if you are on certain benefits. The free vitamins can be collected from Best Start children’s centres and health centres.

Keeping your Home Safe
If you are living in Croydon Council Housing with a child under 5 you may be eligible for a free home safety check where you may be able to get stair gates/ fire guards to improve the safety of your home.
