The Practice has seen an increase in requests for repeat medications which as a practice we are actively discouraging. Your GP will not issue supplies beyond your normal requirements. If widespread ‘stocking up’ of medications occur, the supply chain will not cope and we could find ourselves in a situation like we are experiencing in supermarkets where we are having serious stock shortage issues.
- Do not come to the GP practice reception to request your prescription.
- Do sign up to the NHS App to request your medication online. For this you need your own email and mobile number.
- Do sign up for the Electronic Prescription Service with a pharmacy or attach a self-address envelope to your repeat request so that we can post this back to you.
- Do drop off your prescription requests through the letter box and please enclose a SAE
