As you may be aware there has been traces of the polio virus found in London sewage. This indicates there is a possibility that the virus has spread between people.
Due to the increased risk and potential serious illness to those unvaccinated, Public Health England have recommended that all children living in London aged between 1yr and 9yrs (inclusive) be given a polio booster regardless of their immunisation status.

For 5 – 9 years you are able to book on line at one of the three Mass Vaccination sites – Centrale, St Nicholas Shopping and Centre Court. Two Community Pharmacists are also involved – Valley Pharmacy (St Aidan’s Church Hall Chipstead Valley Road) and Pearl Chemist Tooting.
